Was There a Civilization On Earth Before Humans?

 This is a mind-bending article and well worth reading. But what really caught my eye was the statement, “any industrial civilization that rises on any planet will, through their own activity, trigger their own version of a climate shift.”

I use this exact premise in my novel, “The Messenger Within,” where four of the most unlikely heroes face a daunting task and should they fail…Earth will die. Every life on the planet depends on them and they, in turn, depend on the supreme kindness of an alien race. It’s a story of ultimate sacrifice…
