Each breath says goodbye to another precious moment

For which we are allotted only a few

And as each one passes it seems that the sum total of all experience has been just one moment

Just a single moment in time

No matter how hard we try to hold that precious moment

For eternity

It passes

And we are left with a certainty that all those moments will soon be gone.
